Teacher Appreciation Gifts…Wednesday Windings 04/04/2011 — 11 Comments

    • I’m terribly curious if homeschool families celebrate it. It’s like an extra mother’s day! 🙂

I’m thinking that I should post a calendar just at my little “workshop” to remind me when stuff is coming up! I really need separate work spaces for papercrafting and sewing. It’s such a hassle to have to move the machine out and all the scrapbooking stuff in. But that’s not going to happen any time soon, so I guess I’ve got to figure out a better way to organize my “workshop” area as dual-purpose. Or maybe quadruple purpose! 🙂

  1. Beautiful tags and to do them on a moment’s notice is incredible. I think all your talent is really showing through – you rock!! My son is way beyond school age, and I truly didn’t even know there was such a thing as teacher appreciation day until you mentioned it last year…lol

  2. You whipped up some great teacher gifts! I don’t know if I could have done that on such short notice! It’s gonna be a few years yet before I have to worry about Teacher Appreciation Week for my little peanut. Glad you were able to come up with such a fabulous gift for the teachers in your kids’ lives!

    • I really do love our teachers (they go to a little Christian school) but I have got to figure out a way to get ahead! I’m sooo last minute on everything. I’m just glad I’ve managed to develop a supply pile to raid at the last second. 🙂

  3. Your post made me laugh! I had most of the gifts ready and had already patted myself on the back until I realized (at 10 pm) that I had signed up for a breakfast casserole and a dessert for the teachers breakfast & lunch! Auuggh! Your tags are precious! Would love for you to stop by and link them to the Pretty Packages Party (and to the Tuesday To Do Party! :-))

    • I know! It’s so hard to keep ahead of everything! Now that I have a smart phone, I tend to sent up “appointments” for myself for everything. It’s good notice as long as I don’t dismiss them and forget about it!

      Thanks for the invite!

    • Thanks for stopping by! I loved your Teacher Appreciation Week feature (clipped a bunch to try!) –although I wish I’d come across it a little earlier! 🙂
