I post a lot about being behind on my laundry around here. Well, we’ve taken that to new heights this week.

We’re “calmly” awaiting the parts for Mr. Fix-It to, well, fix it.
In the mean time, I’m trying to convince my boys that they may not roll the dryer drum around the kitchen island just for laughs, and that just because I called it a “drum” doesn’t mean you can beat on it with sticks (which aren’t supposed to be in the house anyway, thanks a lot Penny!)

Well, let’s see…this week I’m thankful for Mr. Fix-It to fix it. And I’m thankful that it’s summer time and I don’t have to have uniforms clean and the crew can wear whatever I can cobble together for a few days. And I’m thankful for space inside the house to air dry our underwear!

I’m thankful that we got to see my sister and her family recently and that they’ll be coming to visit us soon too for the Ladybug’s birthday. I’m thankful that she’s found a church home and is walking with Christ now.
And I’m thankful for our church home. As we plan to have church friends over for Ruby’s birthday and start preparing for the new school year at our little Christian Academy, I’m so thankful for everything we found when we found our church–faith, fellowship, and family.
What are you thankful for this week?
