Well, It’s Been Raining…the Daily Farm Adventures {86}
That’s about all I can say. It was terribly dry and God has now sent us FOUR DAYS of rain. I’ve given up on the keeping the floors clean! But I found a few pictures to share with you from just before the clouds rolled in…
Liberty the “barn cat” that lives on our front porch, shamelessly begging for some kitchen scraps…
Henny Penny, our rascally free-ranger, also shamelessly begging for a treat on the front porch…
And Molly, with her calf Bubba (he’s got a noticeable under-bite and as hard as I’ve tried to reject the name, it has stuck), shamelessly begging for a snack from the chicken feed…
Are you noticing a trend here? {smile}
Then there’s Penny, who only wants time to nap quietly in in the sunshine…
Without endlessly being pestered…
By someone else shamelessly begging for attention…
I was kneeling down to get a face shot of Penny and he just plopped himself right in front of the camera. Turkey!
How are the fur, feathers, and friends at your home place doing this week?
I hope to dry out this weekend. Next week is the kiddos last week of school for the year. (Oh, it has dragged on and on…) I’m hoping the weather clears up so I can take the first day or two of summer break off with them and we can go hiking again. We had such a blast hiking in January (Coal was still so little!) when we had a few days off!
We’ve had rain the last 4 days too. It’s brought some cooler weather, even chilly the other night. It was so nice! And today the sun is out again, and heating up the air quickly. Lovely pictures, I love the one of Molly and Bubba.
We finally got rain last night and it’s forcasted to rain all week. I must admit that we sorely need it here on the east coast!
