I’m taking a break from our Lambing Help series and sharing about Speedracer’s recent Skylanders birthday party. This whole party was an interesting quandary for me because our kiddos don’t play video games. At. All. I went to wrap Speedracer’s birthday presents on Saturday and it turns out that we didn’t have any more tape. So I headed to my gift bag stash. And we didn’t have any gift bags big enough for a couple of his presents. So great, what now? When all else fails, use ribbon. That’s my new motto. It’s been a long first week of school so far. But so far we’re surviving it all pretty well. The first day was a little tough. Speedracer’s had to implement some coping strategies. So what do we do around here when we need a laugh? We send the kids out to feed the chickens. Then we run and get the camera.
