Thanks to Alysha at The Tarr Pit and Gini at The McGlothin Family Nest for leading a conversation I’m excited to join.
Each time I snap a picture or write a post for this blog I’m reminded how wonderful our life is. Each time I think about how busy, hectic, or overflowing our life is, I’m reminded that it’s overflowing with blessings more than anything else.
Good morning, world, I’m thankful for my wonderful life!
I’m thankful that I have my husband to share it with. Where would I be without my other half? My better half. “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” (Matthew 19:6)
I’m thankful that I have my kiddos to share it with. To share with you. They’re gonna to do great things one day, ya know. “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalms 127:3)
I’m thankful that the Lord has promised to protect and watch over my family as His own children, with an unceasing vigilance I could never match. “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep...The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.“ (Psalm 121:3-4, 7)
And I’m thankful that I am also one if his children and under his care. No matter how tough life gets, no matter how frustrating motherhood gets, no matter how high those mountains seem, I’m never going it alone. “He shall feed is flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arms, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.“ (Isaiah 40:11)
