The Carhartt Crew
Fall is officially here. Sort of. It’s cool enough in the mornings and evenings to force my kids back into their coveralls.
And it’s just barely cool enough that they don’t mind so much. They miss having big, easy pockets.
And they definitely miss almost waterproof, completely indestructible, fear no dirt/grime/manure/slobber clothes.
Especially the boys.
Do you know that Speedracer’s coveralls are making their 3rd round. They just last, and last, and last…although they do get a little faded.
‘Cause there’s work to do around here.
And the great thing about farming is that everyone can help. Even if it’s just as moral support.
Of course, sometimes that’s the not-so-great thing about farming, too. I’m sort of tired of slimy sheep slobber.
But don’t tell them yet…
They still find it exciting.
And I still need my helping hands.
I’m sure with all these skills they’ll be off on their own long before I’m ready to go it alone.
What an adorable bunch of little farmers! I think farming, while hard work, would be a nice way to change the pace of life. 🙂
