It was recently brought to my attention–again–that the Ladybug is having some concentration trouble. She finds it difficult to focus on things like subtraction, spelling, and how to say “hello” in Dutch.
I have trouble facing this because I know she doesn’t have trouble concentrating for extended periods of time on things like, oh, watching Tinkerbell movies or painting heart-shaped boxes.
I mean, this is the face of concentration, folks.
This one…maybe not so much…
But my girl put in two hours, plus drying time on that project.
Maybe if we start letting her write her spelling lists in glitter glue we would get farther.
Come to think of it, I’m not a fan of spelling or subtraction either. Maybe she comes by it naturally.
Just like that tongue thing.
