Intentional Blogging

Ok readers, I need some input.  Some help.  Some interpretation.  Some thoughts and ideas and feedback.

In other words—SOME COMMENTS!  :)

There’s an amazingly diverse and substantial community of Christian women bloggers out there that have been regularly inspiring me in my daily walk.  And lately the blogosphere has been busy, busy, busy with chats about “intentional blogging”–defined by some as “using your blog to bless your family while also engaging the world for the glory of God.”

Wow, that’s a big order.

I already think this blog has been a blessing to my family.  Mr. Fix-It and the kids and our extended family (and our friends that are practically family) for sure.  Not just in the “sharing news” aspect, but also by preserving stories and capturing amazing moments that were previously passing us by.

I mean, some of the pictures I’ve taken in the last 6 months since starting this blog just make my heart sing with joy.

Or maybe even cry with the overflow of love for those little faces sharing my day.

But “engaging the world for the glory of God” is something I don’t quite have a finger on.  As you look over my blog, do you see that?  Or something like that?  Or something that seems to want to be that, but doesn’t quite know what it’s doing?

How do you think this blog would be different if it was “engaging the world for the glory of God?”
