Intentional Blogging — 3 Comments

  1. As one of those bloggers who tries to go after that tall order, I can tell you what it looks like for me: Going after the heart stuff. It’s the dig-deep, nitty-gritty of your faith. Scouring that out and plastering it out in lines and words, allowing people to speak in, and to resonate with your story. Stopping and taking the time to chronicle the life of your family and kids is a truly beautiful thing and worthy of writing. But what about YOU? Give me YOUR story. Give me the raw stuff, the things you’re still working out. Because when you write THOSE things, I’m reminded that I’m not alone.

    Just my .02 🙂

  2. I absolutely think your blog fills that order already. Not just your Thankful on a Thursday, which gives specific biblical references, but each and every one of your blogs is a testament to the person, wife, mother, friend, family member, God-loving person that you are. It shows you to be you…and that’s the absolutely best thing you can do.
