Today is our 9 year wedding anniversary. I’ve already got a whole post gushing about my Mr. Fix-It ready for tomorrow. But here’s a crafty post to tide you over while I’m making plans to meet my beloved for dinner. (And a quick trip to Party City for a “cowboys yip-yipping cows” cake topper. If they make such a thing.)

Anniversary love notes…
And lunchbox love notes (because love was just spilling out all over my workshop the other evening)…
I even “decorated” the inside of the Ladybug’s card. I had a scrap of paper from a punch out and it worked perfectly since that dark purple patterned paper would be impossible to write a note on.
And just an update…remember that mini muffin tin Advent calendar I was working on? I really, really am. My goal (now) is to have it done by the 4th. That will be the Cowboy’s birthday and that way when I pull it out everyone will be able to get one piece of candy, and the birthday boy can open his and get two pieces of candy. That way no one has to be disappointed that it wasn’t done on time.
Beside my kids are wound up about Christmas enough as it is. This’ll just give me a few extra days respite from the pestering. Or so I tell myself.
