School Days and Stay-Home Days
Around here we don’t have weekends. We have Stay-Home Days. You can’t really have a weekend when most of the household doesn’t really grasp the concept of a “week” anyway. But we’ve got “school-days” and “stay-home days” down.
So what are we doing this stay-home day? Well, as I type Mr. Fix-It and the Cowboy are setting up to process more chickens. Fun. (Not really.) And I’m cleaning the house. More fun. (Not at all.) Mr. Fix-It told the Cowboy he could help this weekend back on Tuesday and every morning this week I’ve gotten him out of bed by reminding him that only big boys (meaning boys that don’t whine and cry and fuss about going to school or argue with their Mama about whether their boots meet school uniform standards) can help kill chickens.
Motivating boys is so different. I promise the Ladybug chocolate milk to get her out of bed.
Hope you have a good weekend! Gotta run–I’ve got an appointment with a chicken plucker.
Jamie. thanks for writing. You brighten my day. Best to “Mr. Fix-it” and the kids.
Hey, James, just wanted to say hi and how’s things. Love seeing the pics of the kiddos on here. Ruby is such a big girl! Time really does fly. We will welcome number five come June, in spite of number four’s poor attitude about it! That girl is entirely too spoiled anyway! Ok, gotta put my kiddos to bed. Hugs to you and the crew.

Oh my, congrats!! Glad to hear you’re all doing well. We pray for you often! Take care of yourself and your little crew!
