I had a crafty weekend this week.

Really crafty.

So pretty it's more a gift than a card...

I went to a Stampin’ Up! workshop on Friday with the Dirt Diva and some friends.  Then I had my crafty Aunt Annie visiting for the weekend–you might remember her too.   And in between loading the dishwasher, and the washing machine and dryer, and sweeping the floor, and doing farm chores…we took over the whole kitchen and snipped, punched, and glued for two solid days.  Well, except for a short break to help with the shade shelter.  And a break to rescue Yankee from a sticker bush.  And a break when the Cowboy got his head stuck under Speedracer’s bed.

Real Red ribbon from Stampin' Up! and thrift store goodies!

I can’t believe how gorgeous these ribbon and paper bows turned out with a little hot glue.  I’ve left this one out on my table for inspiration.  Do I feel all set up for the holidays?  Uh…no.  But my creative juices are flowing.

This one has a lovely old fashion feel.

I finished a couple more scrapbook pages to share soon and I made a couple more cards too.  I discovered that my tag punch and photo corner punch together make the cutest little houses for a Welcome to the Neighborhood card!

Patterned paper makes them adorable.

However, I’ve got to help decorate the Gramma Nutt table for our CandyLand themed Ladies Holiday Fellowship in a few weeks.  If you’ve got any ideas, please share!
