I Am a Momma of Boys — 23 Comments

  1. Hey, sister! Stopping by from the blog-hop – which is rockin’ my socks by the way! Thanks for sharing about your sweet boys! I can’t wait to see how my Little Lion Cub’s personality develops as he grows (he’s only 4 months now). P.S. Can I just say that you have an incredible way with words – they way they flow and turn over in one’s heart is very unique and life-giving! Thanks for sharing and being faithful to the calling He’s given you!

    • Thanks–you’re so sweet!

If there’s one thing I’m learning on this journey it’s that being a boy mom (or girl mom for that matter!) is not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure! But watching them grow every day and seeing them develop into these amazing people and knowing that God must have the most amazing plans for them one day but that he’s entrusted them to us at this moment…it’s just awe-inspiring.

  2. I love this! They look like they are going to be friends for life! It is especially great that they are “old fashioned” type boys. Most boys today aren’t outdoorsy, nor do they care to do anything but sit in front of the television or computers. Reminds me of my brother when we were growing up. such BOYS! ~smiles~

    • Sometimes I think people have forgotten what boys are supposed to be like! It’s all new to me, but thanks to our church and fellowships like The MOB Society, I’m learning to appreciate them just the way they are–while offering some judicious correction and direction!! 🙂

  3. You almost made me wish I had boys 🙂

Love the pics and post and the sweet words for your little men!

Hoping you are enjoying your day!!

    • Ha! I wouldn’t trade them for the world, but I treasure my quiet sewing time with my girl too!

PS … You never know who God might be sending your way! 🙂

  4. Well hello southern edge of the prairies Mama! We ranch, scrapbook and create on our place too. Love your cowboys! Monster trucks, matchbox, rescue heroes and God get talked about a lot, with much drama and special effects (it’s like making a movie, Mama). Am so looking forward to reading more of your blog and hopefully see some of your pages and connect more along the way. Bright blessings, Shanyn (Mystic Mom)

  5. Hi friend! Thanks for stopping by my blog today–I’m stopping by from the BlogHop, too. Can’t wait to read more about your little dragon slayers!

    • It’s sweet moments to catch them together and their not wrestling each other to the ground! 🙂 “Boys” is one word, but “brothers” is a whole other layer! Thoughts and prayers for you as you get close–how exciting!
