A Sprinkle of Snow
The weekend surprised us with some actual snow! First it was rain. Then it was rain mixed with snow. Then it was some big, fat snowflakes.
Then it turned into freezing rain and froze into a hard crust.
It looked nice though.
It’s actually still so cold that some of it is lingering around.
The lambs seem to be taking it just fine though.
Any time you see pictures of lambs, you should look close at their feet. Lambs rarely just walk. {grin} There’s usually one or more feet off the ground at any time. They like to crow-hop, buck, twist, and bounce like they have springs on their feet!
Their favorite time of day to play is feeding time, morning and evening. While their mommas are all at the trough, they like to run around like a little gang of pre-schoolers on the playground.
There’s icicles hanging off our gates. There’s icy crust along the fence lines and fence posts. And we’re snuggled up inside for a special stay-home day.
How are you spending President’s Day?
Again, I love these photos – something about lambs and springtime 🙂
Just makes you feel good, doesn’t it! 🙂
