I’m always looking at farm stamps, farm papers, and farm stickers.  I can’t help it.  They’re so cute.  They’re so suitable for kids (which makes them suitable for about 90% of what I do).  And, well, we farm, so obviously we have a thing for cows, sheep, and chickens.

I recently found this really cute stamp set from Close to My Heart called Howdy.

Cute, right?

And this great farm themed scrapbook pack called Farm Fresh from October Afternoon, that’s sort of vintage-y (is that a word?) and country, and very fun.  The pack included papers, stickers, and chipboard accents and journaling blocks.

Some fussy-cutting and a little pop dot give a lot of dimension.

I love the way clear stamps make it so much easier to line up your words–like this cute greeting stamped onto a journaling sticker!

And don’t forget the inside!

So fun.

Who wouldn’t smile to get this card?  I sent it off to my Grandpa, who’s been down with the flu.  But I was thinking it would work for a lot of other purposes too.  So I put together a couple more with the same pattern for some needs at church.

I'm thinking this one is perfect for one of our nursing home church members...it's so lovely the picture doesn't do it justice.

Creating the first one is the longest part of the process.  They roll pretty easy after that.  And who doesn’t want to get a handmade card?
