I have a couple Christmas projects to post today as a holiday wrap up. The Cowboy’s cow head roping dummy thing and the Ladybug’s doll bed didn’t get wrapped on Christmas Eve. Really, we just couldn’t figure out how without wasting a lot of time and paper.

So I made a couple gift tags from some leftover chipboard I had from a mini album. They were about 3 by 4.5 inches each.

I used some really cute western scrapbooking stickers I got in a bargain bin for a $1 on the Cowboy’s. They were just too cute!

And I fussy cut out the little reindeer for the Ladybug’s from some adorable Christmas paper Annie sent me in a recent box of goodies. I probably would not have bought that Christmas paper for myself, but as soon as I used it, I really fell in love with it.

I recycled a beautiful card with the 3 wise men on it to make 3 more tags. The gold foil on the card give it such a rich shimmer. The bottom patterned paper is Cherry Cobbler by Stampin’ Up! and it’s much deeper red than it looks in the picture.
And here’s a quick Christmas card that I made.

The inside has a little pocket for a memory card. We gave Mr. Fix-It’s dad and stepmom a digital picture frame and a memory card full of pictures of the crew for Christmas. It’s a great gift because it’s simple–they just plug the disk in and turn the frame on and it rolls all the pictures for them, just one step–and we can swap cards with them to update their pictures any time we want to.

Next week I’m looking forward to sharing some scrapbooking pages that the Ladybug has been working on. My sister, Cheese, got her a very girly 8×8 scrapbooking kit and I gave her some extra prints I had laying around. She’s scraped one of our farm kitten, a butterfly, and herself at the beach so far. It’s adorable to see how much she loves it. And to see her style. She’s quite the minimalist.
By the way, I’ve been thinking about making Wednesday Windings a link up for crafty posts. Sewing, papercrafting, scrapbooking, home decor projects, whatever your creative side leads you to. Would you be interested in linking up if I did? If you are, be sure to let me know and I’ll see about setting up a linky next week.
