You Can Laugh If You Want To
So what do we do around here when we need a laugh? We send the kids out to feed the chickens.
Then we run and get the camera.
We’ve been really focused on getting Speedracer into the work routine around here. You know, making sure he’s actually working once in a while instead of watching everyone else work.
So we’ve been sending him out to learn how to feed the chickens without letting them out of the pen all the time. The Cowboy’s tired of that job and the Ladybug’s learning how to do laundry, so we’re training the little guy up to take over.
He’s been taking it really seriously. Didn’t even stop to get dressed before heading out. He requires more fruit snacks and juice pouches than the other two to stay fueled up.
And more naptime if he’s really breaking a sweat!
But he’s starting to get the hang of it.
Feel free to laugh if you want to–we did!
Ha! To funny. I always used to run around with out a shirt on as well.

Love it! Every time we have to get shoes or boots on Sophie holds them up and says “is this the right way Mommy?” with such a serious look on her face 🙂
I never realized it was so hard to figure out. We’ve got one that can’t stand the way it feels when they’re wrong and one (obviously! 🙂 ) that doesn’t seem to care!
That is just too funny! I didn’t think anybody really got dressed in the summer in the country! Too hot for all that! Good to see that they are never too young to learn responsibility around the homestead!
Even when they get dressed–sometimes it’s such a fashion mess that you’re not sure if they actually are dressed or not!
